Showers eventually gave way to sunshine on Wednesday and allowed us to complete the scheduled 18 ends in our home match vs Westerham. We ran out overall victors, winning 3 of the 4 men's rinks and our ladies achieved a resounding win on their single rink.

The opening matches of the Friday night Sevenoaks & District League brought mixed fortunes for our 2 teams at home. Sevenoaks took 4 of the 6 points against Vale in Division 1 but Acorns lost on both rinks against Sundridge in Division 3.

Having played 2 and won 2 we went to Cobham on Saturday with high expectations but, though we drew 2-2 on rinks, the overall score went heavily against us. So it's now played 3 won 2.
